Why are there so much ads? Is it because of the funds?

I don't like annoying ads such as pop-uo, auto-playing video, etc.

The current ads are 70% game related.

I've noticed that some of the ads display something I've searched recently.

For instance, one time I was searching for decent Gaming Laptops. I get on Atlava and there is an ad for HP Gaming Laptops.

Another time I searched for C# Compilers, and an ad about coding language schools came up here.

It feels like this is just me. Has anyone else noticed?

Those are google ads, it checks your recent google searches and shows you relevant ads to your searches.

I honestly think the ads make Atlava look more professional and updated.
Without the ads it'd look a bit default and outdated for a forum site.

i personally liek the ads there, i dont know without them seems a little empty i guess :P, but just because there there dont mean we have to click them, lol so in this case its not a problem :P
